I was inspired by Liberty to create the floral tape with photoshop. The print is actually from a dress I got from the H&M garden collection. So my awesome boyfriend has decided to take me to San Francisco to catch the She and Him show in Oakland! I am super excited, I can't wait to see Zooey in person. Meet ups anyone??

On to the nom nom of the weekend: Korean x Mexican food.

So if you're from the LA area and you've fallen victim to the Kogi truck craze (Korean style tacos for those that are unfamiliar), you will have to try Red Hot Kitchen. Kogi has nothing on them. I can vouch for this hole in the wall that's not so hole in the wall, haha. Right smack in the middle of a rather old industrial area, you couldn't tell by the outside that it has a cozy modern and quaint indoor seating area. Great service for a taco stand, cheap tasty food and without a 2 hour wait! What are you waiting for? Get some NOW!

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED that both LA and Pomona shows are sold out :'[
I knew that they had a new album coming out but totally forgot to stay updated.

However! The show in Oakland is do-able...

Is anyone by any chance going to see them? Tickets are still available in some states! Check it out here, for I know there are a TON of Zooey fans out there.

hot weather and good food

Another weekend spent chowing down at new restaurants, enjoying the refreshing outdoor atmosphere of the Americana and walking the Arts District that I can't believe I failed to ever realized existed.






What better way to welcome the new season than with floral prints and white shorts? I will be featuring (my new fav) the sash (that can be worn so many other ways) in a future post.

♪♬♪ Cold Cave - Love Comes Close 

Did we save an hour or lose an hour? I really hate having to transition forward or backward 60 minutes. From what I understand we adjust the time to "save energy"...

Coincidentally I found an empty parking lot whose wall color matched what I was wearing.

I bought these glasses in some random thrift shop in downtown for only $9. I hope my optometrist can swap the lenses. This weekend I discovered new delicious coffee, dessert waffles at 11pm, tangerine mojitos and kurtosh bread. I love LA.


After reading about the American Apparel nail polish on Lisa's Likes, I knew I had to get some for myself. I suggest all you dears do the same! All the colors are spring friendly and paint on smoothly and bright. The colors I picked up were Rose Bowl, Pinto and Mouse.

Last Wed I caught a Dan Black show at Spaceland in Silverlake. He is the first artist I've seen perform that I can confidently say he sounds so much better live. I really appreciate his energy and humor. I love his colorful style and electric beats. My favorite song is U+ME=. If you haven't heard it yet, do your life some good and listen to it here.
