I watched this movie as part of the LA Film Festival. I am horrible at movie reviews so I'm not going to give an elaborate one. I just want to say that this movie is one of the best I have ever seen. I definitely recommend to anyone that is intrigued by Japanese culture and a food enthusiast who enjoys a feel good movie. There were so many stories and lessons told in 134 minutes (of some I highlighted in my doodle). After leaving the theater, I knew that I had to make some changes in the way I view life. I was also so compelled to consume a bowl of udon while being in Little Tokyo, but that had to wait until next time.
Love the little lessons in your notebook. I'll have to make a note of watching this movie :)
ReplyDeleteohh those little quotes are from the movie? they sound so cute yet so true and inspiring <3 amazing drawings by you too :) i love such indie, non-commercial films, thankyou for the recommendation i'll be sure to keep a lookout if my local dvd rental store has it though i quite doubt so :(

ReplyDeletehow fun was it that you got to watch a film at the film festival!! I always wanna catch the films shown at such festivals but never actually get the tickets since the movies are usually a little more abstruse and it's harder to find interested people to go with...
