The demo was really fun because each chef had their own quirky personality. I really enjoyed their humor and their gastronomic knowledge. They were so through and created such simplicity in each recipe. It was truly a memorable afternoon and I hope to attend their future events. Impressed yet? You can view more pictures on my Flickr.

Mmmmm the strawberry and black pepper biscuit sounds interesting, I wouldn't have thought of putting them two together, but then I do love strawberries in a savoury salad.

Oh yum! I love when fruit is used in savory dishes-- someone (or a blogger) was telling me about her arugula and strawberry salad. I was like yum!! Here is a quick and super easy dessert if you have excess ripe strawberries: cut them up, add some sugar, throw them in a jelly jar/glass. Pour red wine on top. Voila, dessert and no one will complain it was too simple because they will be drunk before they finish. The Italians taught me that trick. :)
