easy messy hair bun

Today I introduce to you the Goody spin clip. Have you guys seen the commercial for this amazing tool?? I bought it about a month ago and I love it! Following the simple directions in the box, it's so easy to use and holds your bun together well. All you do is twist your hair into a bun and literally spin the pin into your hair. I really recommend it to anyone who wants a quick messy bun without the fuss of bobby pins. It's available at Target or most drug stores and so worth the $5-6 (2 pins in one box). If you have a lot of hair, you might need 3 or 4 pins. Let me know if you have used it, or is planning to purchase it.

This summarizes up a fun triple date I had with my friends on Saturday- they are the best company.

Also celebrated a special birthday this weekend. ♥

I'm glad most of you are enjoying the pages in between my notebooks. I really appreciate your comments and support. I hope it inspires you to make your own! :)

  13. These spin clips look great! I wonder if they would work on my hair? I have thick hair that reaches past my waist. I'd probably need about seven clips to keep it up ;)
I really love your notebook pages, what kind of pens and highlighters do you use? I love the colours. I'm so inspired to get a grid style moleskine now and do the same!
And thanks for your comment by the way~!
I used two lights (not sure the exact name of the kind) with square soft boxes over them. I also use a white photo box/cube, which would have probably given a more soft and even light, but I didn't use it for shooting the little miniature bits because I wanted to be able to easily get my hands in the shot and fix the parts when they fell over :)

  26. Hey, in reply to your comment that is not technically my yard, it's not behind my house but we rent it, it's like an allotment. The cool part is that it is still near the centry of my city, but it looks as if you're far far away!
I would love to visit California once but LA looks so immense, almost frightening ^^ And my birthday isn't until Friday actually ^^ Thanks for your supersweet comment!xx
